What's the one thing you're most neurotic about?
I have a tendency to line things up in my sight - foreground to background, my hood ornament to pedestrians, that kind of thing.
Show us a winter photograph.
Well, technically it's not winter yet, but the storm and subsequent flooding in the Pacific Northwest last week forced many people out of their homes and into the December cold. I took this photo as my church group immigrated in with shovels, rakes, and other implements of destruction to help unearth our neighbors. The residents were of good cheer, even though their belongings were destroyed even up to the second story of their homes (water line is barely visible on barn in photo background, estimated at 12 ft here). Think of it as the Grinch, with Nukes.
Nevertheless, the indomitable human spirit shone through from all sides, and this winter devastation-land is on the mend. The situation left me thankful for the opportunity to help others in their time of need - I could receive no greater gift this Christmas. Bless us all - John
What are your irrational fears?

Being buried alive. Fortunately, it doesn't come to my conscious thought level often. THANKS!
For a full sit-down dinner with several guests, would you rather be the one cooking or do you prefer to just show up and eat?
Once again we're offered only two of several possible options. Heres' the deal. Anybody with a soul knows that under these circumstances, it is all but necessary to split up the cooking detail (unless you've invited all your guests from overseas and, then, you're on your own). If you bring nothing to the table but your appetite, I'd better see you doing dishes like Mickey Mouse in Fantasia.
It's dedication time. What song are you sending out, and who is it dedicated to?
"Pump" by Jeff Beck, going out ot the lady I met tonight at Bally's. ;D
